タイトルそのまんまですが…。なんで普段は普通に話してる間柄なのに留守電やメールだと「ですます」の丁寧語になるんでしょうか？私の仮説は、メールや留守電は第三者が見たり聞いたりする可能性があるから、それに備えて敬語という説。どうでしょ？
